Course Overview

GenAiA-TE course is designed based on the AiU Certified GenAI-Assisted Test Engineer syllabus and is divided into 7 chapters. Below is the overview of each chapter.
ISTQB Certified Tester : AI Testing - Key Benefits
  • AI-Assisted Testing Introduction: Learn here the evolution of AI-assisted testing, how LLMs operate, their benefits, and the challenges they present, providing you with a well-rounded understanding of their impact on the industry.
  • Prompt Engineering: Gain proficiency in creating compelling prompts, which are necessary to direct AI in producing high-caliber test cases. Here, we learn the art of prompting strategies that can benefit testers or anyone in general.
  • Requirements Review: During the development lifecycle, gathering requirements is an essential stage in which abstract concepts are recorded. Because of the potential for misunderstandings, requirement reviews provide testers with an early chance to increase clarity. Given the complexity of the task, artificial intelligence can greatly help testers.
  • Test Generation and Optimization: Examining a test object in its entirety can make test design very complex, frequently necessitating the use of seasoned testers or consultants with specialized knowledge. But with AI's assistance, any tester with even a basic understanding can effectively produce comprehensive test designs.
  • Test Data Generation: To investigate a single test idea from various angles, a tester creates variants of the test data. Test data is frequently what sets one test case apart from another. While it can be difficult to generate appropriate test data in complex domains, artificial intelligence (AI) can be a useful tool in this process.
  • Bug Advocacy: Large Language Models based on NLP are particularly effective at generating and evaluating text in various formats. Testers can use this feature to create visually appealing reports which can help them communicate the bugs more effectively.
  • The Road Ahead: This final chapter offers a preview of what lies ahead for AI support in the testing field. It also talks about how AI cannot completely replace human intelligence and how these two intelligences can work together to produce great results.

In our 3-day practical workshop with 90% hands-on training, you'll learn how to effectively interact with LLMs using prompt engineering techniques.

This coaching will ensure you master prompting with mnemonics, significantly reducing your test design and execution efforts by 30-40%. Additionally, the course includes a globally recognised certification from the BRIGHTEST Board, to validate your skills.

To experience the journey towards GenAI in software testing, we recommend watching our recorded webinar on GenAI for Software Testers, led by Mr. Vipul Kocher (President of ISTQB India), and enrolling with us for the upcoming workshop to implement it.
