Serial entrepreneur Vijith Sivadasan was awarded the prestigious Vocational Excellence Award by the Rotary Calicut beach, for his outstanding contributions to the software industry and his dedication to inspiring young entrepreneurs.

At a ceremony held at the Taj Gateway Hotel in Calicut, distinguished guests, including Rotarian Bipin Aravindhakashan - President, and Rotarian Dinesh Nataraj - Secretary, gathered to honor Vijith’s outstanding achievements. The event celebrated Vijith’s enduring impact on the software industry and recognized his leadership and pioneering work in the field.

In his acceptance speech, Vijith reflected on his long and winding journey, filled with challenges, and expressed his deep gratitude for the recognition. He underscored the critical role of perseverance, passion, and hard work in the software industry's constantly evolving landscape, noting that his success was due, in large part, to the guidance and support of his industry peers.

Vijith's entrepreneurial spirit was evident from an early age, as he started building software in the sixth grade. After college, he was hired by Infosys, where he gained valuable experience. Further he also worked with major global companies like GE Healthcare, AON, and Northwestern Mutual.

Vijith Sivadasan, who founded and bootstrapped multiple million-dollar startups, including Codelattice and Netstager, is a specialist in managing investments in startups and creating impactful and futuristic strategies to build high-value enterprises. He also nurtures several companies globally, helping them grow and manage exits. He has also helped several startups globally to grow and manage exits, including Igloopupa, Above-5, Booked Happy, Level74, Bayzon, and Digital Orange.

In his speech, Sivadasan emphasized the importance of freedom, particularly time, financial, and location freedom, which he achieved through entrepreneurship. He also highlighted his company, Codelattice's commitment to serving society and enabling women with career breaks, hiring differently abled people, and helping NGOs on a pro-bono basis.
